SDG 17.H – Encourage and promote effective public, public-private and civil society partnerships, building on the experience and resourcing strategies of partnerships.

We are attracting trade, investment and business relationships and events to Victoria, British Columbia and supporting collaboration across the Oceans sector by hosting Innovate Canada 2023 – Oceans.  

• Encourage clients and partners to develop and strengthen lasting cross-border partnerships through Innovate Canada 2023 – Oceans
• Implement initiatives that align with the Canada Business Events Sustainability Plan. Developed by Destination Canada, this is a national program aimed at improving the economic, social and environmental sustainability practices of business events hosted in Canada. The plan includes coaching, training and education to 16 domestic partners to build on their existing sustainability programs, including Innovate Canada partners:

  • Prince Edward Island
