Welcome to the Blue Sky City, Calgary!  Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver outside the arrivals area at Calgary International Airport. Your driver will transfer you to Le Germain Hotel Calgary. Registration and our marketplace will be open at the Lounge Central 899, offering you a chance to settle in and start connecting. At 4:45 pm, we will officially kick things off with a warm welcome from Destination Canada, setting the tone for the experience ahead. This will be followed by our Welcome Dinner at nearby Charbar, where we’ll enjoy a rooftop cocktail reception and a private dinner on the second floor, celebrating the start of an exciting week together. The panoramic views of Calgary’s skyline will make the perfect start to our week of inspiration and innovation.

We’ll ease into the day with a morning wellness session and breakfast at leisure before heading out to explore Calgary’s life sciences innovation ecosystem. Our first stop takes us to the University of Calgary for a deep dive into cutting-edge research and collaboration, followed by a delicious lunch at Barbarella. In the afternoon, we’ll walk over to TELUS Precision Health for our second tour, showcasing groundbreaking work in personalized medicine. After some well-deserved free time, we’ll come together for a special evening hosted by Tourism Calgary—an unforgettable reception and dinner at Rouge, where local flavours and warm hospitality take centre stage.

The day begins with another energizing “Rise and Shine” session before partners and clients head over to the BMO Centre for a productive morning of one-to-one meetings, paired with an à la carte breakfast. After wrapping up, we’ll enjoy a beautiful lunch at Eden, then dive into an afternoon site visit at Orpyx, where innovation meets impact in wearable tech. You’ll have a bit of free time to relax or recharge before we come together for Destination Canada’s Signature Night at River Café—an unforgettable evening on Prince’s Island, filled with exceptional food, atmosphere, and celebration.

On our final morning together, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before we take a short walk to our closing Fireside Chat, an inspiring conversation to wrap up the week. At 11 am, we’ll say our goodbyes and begin departures. Safe travels and thank you for being part of Innovate Canada!
