Canada’s global leadership in the oceans technology and sciences sector will be on full display in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador from July 25-29, 2022 during Innovate Canada 2022.

Exploration is at the heart of Innovate Canada 2022, Destination Canada’s exclusive event for C-suite executives to explore the ground-breaking work taking place across Canada’s ocean science ecosystems.

Your participation in Innovate Canada has been confirmed through Destination Canada’s 2022 Marketing & Sales Opportunities program. Registration is now open for one senior member from your organization and one representative from your ocean’s sector community (industry, research, or trade and investment agency). 

As partners of Innovate Canada you will:

• Be part of the host committee to welcome up to 15 pre-qualified global natural resources - ocean sciences industry C-suite executives who have interest in Canada’s ocean sector for business events and/or for trade and investment.
• Showcase your destination’s ocean science expertise for business events and trade and investment opportunities during one-on-one meetings throughout the program.
• Opt-in to behind-the-scenes tours of St. John’s learning labs and simulation centres at the National Research Centre’s Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering Research Centre, and the Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland.
• Have an opportunity to showcase your destination for future ocean industry related business events, as well as for trade and investment opportunities to hosted media throughout the event.
• Have formal and informal opportunities to present your destination’s strengths for hosting business events in this sector.
• Indulge in one-of-a kind culinary and entertainment experiences showcasing Canadian ingenuity and culture.

The Fine Print

• Event programming including one-on-one meetings, innovation tours, on and offsite events, receptions, and excursions noted above are INCLUDED with your registration.

• Airfare to St. John’s, Newfoundland, arrival and departure transfers, and hotel accommodations at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland (negotiated group rate available) are at your own expense. Please note: your hotel stay will be booked on your behalf upon your registration. You will receive your confirmation number closer to the date of the event.
