Destination Canada’s Business Events team will provide complimentary airfare for all guests of Innovate Canada. After registration you will be contacted by our booking partner, Maritime Travel, and they will be pleased to work with you to book your travel. Upon completing your registration, you will be contacted within three (3) business days to review and approve your flight options. We request that your flight arrive no later than 2:00 pm on Monday, May 8 and depart no earlier than 5:00 pm on the afternoon of Thursday, May 11. We welcome you to join us as early as three (3) days prior to the program or depart three (3) days after, allowing you to enjoy the city at your leisure. Competitive hotel rates are available for these additional nights.
All transfers will be provided during your stay at Innovate Canada. Upon your arrival at Toronto's Pearson International Airport, please meet your driver outside of the international arrivals area where you will be escorted to your waiting vehicle.
For all other transfers during the Innovate Canada event, please meet in the lobby of the Delta Hotel Waterloo by the Innovate Canada sign and you will be escorted to your shuttles.
Entry into Canada
At this time, there are no border restrictions with respect to COVID-19. There are no mask mandates and there are no vaccination or quarantine requirements upon entry by either land or air.
To assist with your entry requirements into Canada, we have obtained a Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) clearance letter for Innovate Canada 2023. To facilitate speedy Border procedures it is recommended that all international attendees have a copy of this letter ready for presentation to the CBSA Border Services Officer upon their arrival to Canada. Electronic Travel Authorizations are required for anyone traveling to Canada who is not Canadian if they don't require a visa. Please ensure you fill out and submit the authorization form if this applies to you. The cost is $7 CDN and in most cases the form is produced immediately.

As of June 11, 2022, the United States no longer requires US Citizens to take a COVID test before returning to the country.
returning to other countries
Guests are encouraged to review their local country requirements for the latest COVID requirements for entry.
Any guest who requires a proof of negative COVID test will be provided a Switch Health virtual COVID testing appointment within 24 hours of their departing flight.
