Monday, September 7

Bienvenue à Québec!

Guests will begin arriving throughout the day at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB).

Upon arrival, you will be met by an Innovate Canada representative who will direct you to your transfer to the iconic Fairmont Chateau Frontenac, our host hotel for the week.

At the hotel, we invite you to visit the Innovate Canada hospitality suite. The Destination Canada team will be eagerly awaiting your arrival there and will provide you an overview of the week.

This evening will be at leisure.

Tuesday, September 8

Arrivals may continue into Tuesday morning and so our official programming will begin later that afternoon. The hospitality suite will be open again for those who did not check in on Monday.

For those who are available, our local host partners welcome you to join a fun optional city walking tour of the city. Departing from the hotel, this will provide you with an overview of Old Québec and the sense of place for the week to come.

We will officially kick things off with a warm welcome from Destination Canada, setting the tone for the experience ahead. This will be followed by our Welcome Reception, where we’ll enjoy a cocktail reception and a private dinner celebrating the start of an exciting week together. The views of Québec City will make the perfect start to our week of inspiration and innovation.

Wednesday, September 9

We’ll ease into the day with an optional morning wellness session and breakfast at leisure before heading out to explore Québec City’s digital ecosystem with the first of our tours to one of Québec City’s digital industry leaders. More details to be shared about the company and the immersive and interactive tour that awaits.

Following a group lunch, we’ll return to the hotel for a unique group activity, one that is sure to be a talking point at future events.

After some well-deserved free time, we’ll come together for a special evening with our local host partners at Québec City Business Destination where local flavours and warm hospitality take centre stage.

Thursday, September 10

The day begins with another optional wellness session and breakfast at leisure before diving into the one-on-one meetings. Taking place at the hotel, each client will have the opportunity to meet with each Team Canada partner and their Sector expert. This is an opportunity to connect with one another and explore the extraordinary digital technology sector across the country as well as the opportunities for business events in Canada. Lunch will be provided.

Following lunch, it will be another opportunity to experience first hand more of Québec City’s digital sector leaders. Today’s tours have a strong sub-focus on Advanced and Applied technologies, with companies that are not only leading in tech, but also focused on the sustainability of our planet.

You’ll have a bit of free time to relax or recharge before we come together for Destination Canada’s Signature Night in Old Québec for an evening filled with exceptional food, atmosphere and celebration.
