Welcome, Bienvenue au Canada!

We are pleased to welcome you to Edmonton, Alberta. Please make sure you visit our registration desk on the second floor lobby coat check. of the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District today between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. (12:00 – 17:00)

Join us in the Glen Sather room for an introductory meeting with Destination Canada where you will meet the other guests and learn about the event program and scope.

In the evening, the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District would like to welcome you for a casual welcome reception in Alchemy on the 5th floor.

Attendees of Innovate Canada will have the opportunity to take part in our Agribusiness Tech Tours to visit local companies who are leading in the agribusiness technology space in Canada.  

One-to-one meetings will begin at the hotel in the afternoon. During Innovate Canada, all guests will have the opportunity to meet with all destinations.  The one-to-one meetings are a set of 15-20-minute rotating informational sessions that allow you to connect with each partner taking part in Innovate Canada to learn about the opportunities for business events, investment, development and cooperation.

You will be able to enjoy some free time following the one-to-one meetings where you can catch up on emails or explore the ICE District on your own.  Explore Edmonton will host their signature dinner this evening.

Innovate Canada 2024 is taking place at the same time as FarmFair International, being held at the Edmonton Expo Centre.  Guests of Innovate Canada will have the chance to take part in a private tour of FarmFair International in advance of the trade show floor opening for the day.  Following the visit to FarmFair International, the Agribusiness Tech Tours continue in the morning and into the afternoon.

Following the conclusion of the Tech Tours, you will have the opportunity to refresh and relax in advance of Destination Canada's Signature Evening.  For those guests who are interested, you will be able to take part in the FarmFair reception prior to dinner.  Please indicate during your registration if you would be interested in taking part.

In the evening, prepare to be wowed at Destination Canada's Signature Dinner, creating a sense of place unlike anywhere else in the world. Taking in regional cuisine and inspired entertainment, we're sure you will come away amazed.

The final one-to-one meetings will take place in the morning after breakfast.

A Farewell Lunch will take place following the one-to-one meetings at the hotel. Departure transfers to the airport will depart at the conclusion of lunch.  Optional tours will be available for those guests who are interested in taking part.  Please indicate during your registration if you are interested in taking part.
