Destination Canada’s Business Events team will provide complimentary airfare for all guests of Innovate Canada. After registration you will be contacted by our booking partner, Maritime Travel, and they will be pleased to work with you to book your travel. Upon completing your registration, you will be contacted within five (5) business days to review and approve your flight options. We request that your flight arrive no later than 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 5 and depart no earlier than 4:00 pm on the afternoon of Friday, November 8. During registration you will also be asked to indicate if you are interested in taking part in optional excursions as part of the Innovate Canada program. Should your flight times require you to arrive a day early or depart a day after the close of the program, Destination Canada would be pleased to take care of those accommodations.
All transfers will be provided during your stay at Innovate Canada. Upon your arrival at Edmonton International Airport (YEG), please meet your driver outside of the arrivals area where you will be escorted to your waiting vehicle.
For all other transfers during the Innovate Canada event, please meet in the lobby of the JW Marriott by the Innovate Canada sign and you will be escorted to your shuttles.
Entry into Canada
To assist with your entry requirements into Canada, we have obtained a Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) clearance letter for Innovate Canada 2024. To facilitate speedy Border procedures, it is recommended that all international attendees have a copy of this letter ready for presentation to the CBSA Border Services Officer upon their arrival to Canada. Electronic Travel Authorizations are required for anyone traveling to Canada who is not Canadian or American if they don't require a visa. Please ensure you fill out and submit the authorization form if this applies to you. The cost is $7 CDN and in most cases the form is produced immediately.
